Episode 315 - Brave Faces, Everyone by Spanish Love Songs Album Review
Before we're thrown in to some of the year's heavy hitters coming out very soon, this week, we take the time to do a track-by-track review of a recent album that we felt like deserved to be dissected and discussed in more detail; 'Brave Faces, Everyone' by the band Spanish Love Songs. We go song by song to pick apart some of the heavy and uncomfortable lyrical themes of this powerful album and how they might relate to the current generation of working class adults.
Also on the episode, Adam contemplates running away to live in the woods with the remnants of his dwindling 401k because of the financial panic of the week; Adam shares thoughts on Spider-Man: Homecoming as per his betting stakes; we also give our thoughts on the newest album from The Amity Affliction, 'Everyone Loves You...Except For Us and People With Functioning Ears'; and Adam continues with his trip down memory lane with Tom Petty (with or without the Heartbreakers).
